Our first year of this initiative to welcome anyone who is interested in running but never managed to get out the door.
Running outdoors is a great way to unwind and scientifically proven to give you a greater mental high than exercising in the gym.
Starting from 20th April and every following Wednesday through Summer we welcome individuals to take part in a session of warming up, walking and jogging finishing off with stretching off exercises. Progressively we will be doing less walking and more jogging whilst building up distance.
When you feel ready you can amaze yourself by completing a 5K challenge (it's about 3 miles) which will be timed. The circuit is one lap of our six mile series and opportunities to take the challenge will be on the same days - see page for more details.
A prize will be awarded to the most improved or fastest person, depending on what we feel is apt at the time and whatever Ron finds in his attic?
