This 2.75 mile fun run (or walk) is open to all and starts from the back of the leisure centre taking an anticlockwise loop of Forfar Loch. Underfoot conditions are a mixture of grass, road and stony tracks.

The race has grown in numbers steadily over the last few years and now has a regular field of around the 200 mark ranging from elite runners to fun runners, walkers and people bored of television and turkey.

Christmas Puddings and other prizes are awarded to category winners, fancy dress entrants and to those who look like they have made an extra effort. Sweets, teas and coffees are available at the finish.
